There is just around 12 more days before the first project for the Rotaract Club Of ATC in this brand new year will be officially launch. So those that interested in this project better register now before is too late, this is cause it is only open for 100 participants which is 25 teams. Where there is for member per team. Besides this, we will proudly presents to everyone that our collaborator which is OCBC Bank.

What is 'Sign For Your Life'?
'Sign For Your Life' is a professional developement project organised by Rotaract Club of ATC.
What are the aims and objectives of 'Sign For Your Life'?
The ‘Sign For Your Life’ project aims to educate young adults who has reached the age of majority to read and understand the documents that they sign by themselves instead of relying on the words of others about the contents of particular documents and blindly signing them. By cultivating a society that is aware and highly sensitive to scams and frauds, we hope that this will in turn reduce and eradicate these scammers and frauds from our society.
What is the Rotaract Club of ATC?
Rotaract is an international youth movement for young adults aged 18 to 30. This organisation operates under the umbrella of Rotary International. It provides an opportunity for young adults to enhance their knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, address the physical and social needs of their communities and promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service.
Advance Tertiary College (ATC)’s own chapter of Rotaract Club was formed through the initiatives of several likeminded students in the college who are committed to serving the community and also developing themselves professionally, while expanding their network of friends. The club received its charter on 20th October 2007 from the Rotary International Headquarters. To know more about Rotaract Club of ATC, please visit their blog here.
What are the details of 'Sign For Your Life'?
Date : 15th January 2011
Time : 8am – 7pm
Venue : Advance Tertiary College, KL
Participant Target Group : 18 – 25 year olds (university and college students)
Estimated No. of Participants : 100
Estimated Task Force + VIPs : 70
What has 'Sign For Your Life' installed for us?
Part 1 - Signature Workshop
The workshop aims to give a basic understanding of contract law to the participants and to educate the participants on the clauses to take note of when signing a contract or any other relevant document. Special emphasis will be given to contracts or documents that we sign in our lives such as contract of employments, sale and purchase agreements and etc.
Part 2 - Signature Race
The race around KL will consist of 8 stations located in different parts of KL. After carrying a specific task given at each station, participants will be given a choice of 4 contracts to sign whereby only one of the contracts is faultless while the others are faulty. Upon signing the correct contract, participants will be given the directions to the next station. However, if a faulty contract is signed, a penalty will be imposed on them.
